The Mental Health Research Institute conducts research to understand what causes psychiatric and neurodegenerative illness and to find better ways to diagnose and treat them. Ultimately, we hope our research will lead us to prevent or cure them.

Our seven research groups use a variety of laboratory and clinical methods in order to achieve results that can be translated from benchtop to bedside.
